Job summary

Perrigo in Braunton is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the Goods Inbound, Despatch and material issuing teams. You will work to Good Distribution Practice and support daily warehouse activity under the supervisor's guidance.

No formal qualification is required; full training will be provided. A qualified forklift driver and knowledge of Perrigo's warehouse systems are advantageous for this on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, and despatch materials per Good Distribution Practice.
• Ensure benchmark job is not undertaken until training is complete.
• Work within Health & Safety guidelines and report equipment and stock defects.
• Operate electrical material handling equipment and record battery top ups.
• Safe storage and handling of materials.
• Perform other duties to support Perrigo as needed.

Description Overview

We currently have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative to join the Braunton team covering Goods Inbound, Despatch functions and issuing materials to production as required and any other Warehouse activity as tasked daily by supervisor.

Scope of the Role

• To receive, put away, issue, store and despatch materials in line with Good Distribution Practice, supported by laid down procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure that benchmark job is not undertaken until all training has been incorporated.
• To work within the Health & Safety Guidelines and report any defects found in both equipment and stock.
• That all electrically operated material handling equipment is charged as requiredtogether with recording battery top up.
• Safe storage and material handling equipment safety.
• Other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time in order to support the Perrigo business.

Experience Required

• No formal qualification required, training will be given on jobs needed to be covered.
• Qualified forklift driver.
• Knowledge of Company warehouse systems
• COSHH Coding System
