Job summary

Aldi Recruitment is seeking hands-on staff for our new automated warehouse in Bardon, Leicestershire. You’ll join the testing area team helping bring automation systems to life, keeping the RDC clean, efficient and operating correctly.

You’ll follow instructions, work a fixed shift pattern with 5 days out of 7 and weekends included, starting around 11am (12 noon later). The role is physically demanding with a minimum 30 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate of £13.31.

As part of on going work to our new automated warehouse located in Bardon, Leicestershire, we need a team of hands of colleagues to work in our testing area! This role will see you be part of seeing new automation systems come to life.

In and around your day-to-day tasks you'll be alert and ready to tackle any challenge. We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. And without the great teams at our warehouses, there'd be no products in those stores.

• Start Time: 11am start, changing to 12 noon start once the project has been completed. Shift time based on 8 hours per day, however the end time may vary depending on the needs of the business
