A rapidly expanding global manufacturing firm is seeking a highly organised and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our operation in Morecambe. The salary for this role is £35,000.

Job Summary

In this role, you will lead a team of warehouse staff, implement best practices to optimise productivity, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Create and manage daily shipping lists; pick, count, and weigh products to fulfil customer orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP systems related to shipping and packaging.
• Monitor incoming materials for overdue orders and take appropriate action.
• Backfill shipping or receiving positions as needed.
• Train and certify new associates in shipping, receiving, and material handling, including fork truck operation.
• Operate warehouse equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and all warehouse-related quality standards.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards in the warehouse.
• Liaise with the key internal teams and transport companies to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Produce regular reports and statistics on warehouse performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
