Job description

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of their busy warehouse. You'll oversee all aspects of goods-in, order picking, dispatch, and returns - ensuring smooth workflow, stock accuracy, and high performance from your team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high operational and safety standards.

Location: Wokingham

Salary: GBP33,000 - GBP36,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Overtime: Available

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a warehouse team across goods‑in, storage, picking, and dispatch.
  • Plan and coordinate staff rotas to meet operational demands.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members to reach performance goals.
  • Ensure outbound orders are accurate and on time.
  • Manage the booking‑in and bin‑locating of returned equipment to ensure swift turnaround.
  • Maintain stock accuracy through ongoing and annual stock checks.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety and ISO standards ().
  • Conduct daily checks on warehouse machinery and ensure all equipment is used safely.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and service quality.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to resolve operational challenges and streamline processes.
  • Produce and present warehouse KPIs and operational reports to senior management.
About You
  • Proven experience managing warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of IT/AV equipment and their logistical handling is advantageous.
  • Experience using management or warehouse systems (e.g., RMS).
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards and their practical application.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, hands‑on, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
