Objective / Purpose
Responsible for designing and redesigning processes of the Ravago facility and Warehouse Management System operations to align with the Company’s objectives of efficiency and continual improvement.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
WMS Management
- Assist warehouse and administrative teams with system issues.
- Test WMS functionality before and after deployment.
- Partner with warehouse and administrative teams to identify potential system improvements to gain operational efficiencies.
- Generate Ship To addresses for non-OHM customers.
- Generate new Products.
- Generate system user passwords and associated QR codes.
- Perform monthly audits of tasks in OPEN and IN PROGRESS status to ensure the overview screen remains current.
- Review and implementation of document design.
- Assist with scheduling, conducting, and monitoring facility-wide training for all associates pertaining to the direct effectiveness of the WMS.
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Director.
Inventory Management
- Perform weekly book to book reconciliation between the ERP and WMS systems.
Communication
- Track, report, and follow-up on WMS gaps (including time studies) in test and production environments.
- Partner with the Business System Architects and SDC teams for continued system development.
- Generate facility-wide communications pertaining to system updates and resolutions.
- Participate in virtual meetings with management and various systems teams.
- Keep management abreast of significant issues or developments identified and actions taken to improve the situation.
- Prepare and present statistical information (via Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
- Assist with authorizing work instructions for system processes.
Minimum Qualifications / Education / Certifications
- Education:
- Associate’s degree – preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in a similar role, responsibility to include the following:
- Staff planning; decision-making; facilitating process improvement; provides regular performance feedback; continually works to improve skills. Treats people with respect; works with integrity and upholds organizational values.
- Business Acumen to include the understanding of business implications of decisions. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.
- Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to type at a minimum, 50 wpm.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Microsoft Excel, Word, Vizio and PowerPoint.
- Capable of developing project plans and communicating changes and progress.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.

Work Environment / Conditions
- Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office.
- Required to perform audits in a warehouse setting near operational equipment.
- Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
- All injuries regardless of severity must be reported to your Supervisor/HR immediately.
Physical Requirements / Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- Repetitive motions include typing and writing.
- Walking and/or operating a golf cart.
- This role requires the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Salary Range
$62,000 - $65,000 per year
