Job summary

International Procurement and Logistics Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operative for an onsite role at our Telford facility. The role focuses on accurate picking, packing and dispatch, with responsibility for goods in/out processes and ensuring safety and compliance throughout daily tasks.

The successful candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and hold a forklift licence with manual handling training. The position offers a permanent contract and site-based working hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment is essential.
• You should hold a Forklift Truck Licence and have manual handling training.
• Good attention to detail and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Efficient picking, packing and dispatch of goods to the depot warehouse.
• Receipt and checking of incoming stock and proper labelling and temperature control where applicable.
• Completion of all Goods In/Goods Out paperwork accurately and safely dispose of waste per procedures.
• Operate MHE trucks safely and conduct daily safety checks.

About The Role

Join Our Dynamic Onsite Warehouse Team at IPL Telford!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Warehouse Team at our Nuts & Dried Fruit packing facility in Telford. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30am to 5pm)
• Location: IPL Telford - Site Based Role
• Contract Type: Permanent

Your key responsibilities will include:

• As a Warehouse Key Operative you will provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods by completing various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible, upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times
• You will undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in process, ensuring all label and temperature disciplines are completed appropriately and product is correctly located within the warehouse
• You will ensure that all relevant paperwork, relating to Goods In/Goods Out/Picking is completed in full at all times and Ensure all waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, segregating waste as necessary
• Undertaking MHE truck duties as required ensuring it is driven correctly at all times, you will ensure daily safety checks are conducted thorough and company warehouse guidelines observed

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a warehouse/manufacturing/pack house/produce background
• You should have a Forklift Truck Licence and a good understanding of warehousing/store processes and procedures, along with the possession of manual handling training
• With the ability to work under pressure you should also have good attention to detail and good communication skills
