Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory / Administrator to support day-to-day stock management and data administration within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate inventory counting, stock control, and data entry, ensuring all systems and records are up to date and aligned with operational requirements.

This position partners with one of the biggest names in UK Travel - DHL Avanti Trains - based their warehouse on-site at Glasgow Central Train Station.

RATE OF PAY: a competitive rate of £12.60 per hour.

WORK SCHEDULE: You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days each week, ensuring a balanced workload and opportunities for rest and personal time.

SHIFT TIMINGS: The shifts will commence as early as 6:30 am.

SHIFT END TIME: Your daily responsibilities will conclude at 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inventory counts (daily, weekly, and monthly) to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Record and update inventory data in internal systems and spreadsheets (Excel, database, WMS etc.).
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight discrepancies or potential shortages to management.
  • Assist in receiving, checking, and logging deliveries, ensuring goods match purchase orders.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock movements.
  • Generate and provide weekly inventory and performance reports to the Managing Director.
  • Assist with data entry and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain warehouse and office housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organised workspace.
  • Provide excellent customer service when liaising with internal teams or external partners.
