Job summary

Loom Talent is seeking an experienced Warehouse First Line Manager for a hands-on leadership role in Ashford, Surrey. Manage goods-in through despatch, drive performance and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a busy warehouse.

The role requires strong people-management skills, a solid grasp of warehouse processes, and the ability to deliver continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Full-time position with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse leadership, ideally in 3PL/logistics or FMCG.
• Proven ability to drive performance against KPIs and service levels.
• Strong people-management skills including performance and attendance management.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse teams across goods-in, storage, picking, handling and despatch operations.
• Ensure orders and outbound deliveries are processed accurately and on time.
• Take ownership of daily performance and achieve service, productivity, quality and cost targets.
• Lead shift briefings and communicate effectively with the team.
• Plan resources and staffing for peak periods and seasonal demand.
• Monitor KPIs and report on productivity, quality and stock accuracy.
• Investigate issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the wider management team to meet site objectives.
