Pertemps Burton is recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Driver in Swadlincote. The role is a temporary-to-permanent, full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The job involves unloading deliveries, stock handling, and dispatch preparation within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will hold a forklift licence, a full UK driving licence, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and IT competency.

Qualifications

Aged 23+ for vehicle insurance purposes.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Excellent attention to detail in stock handling and data entry.
Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently.
Forklift Truck licence.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physically fit for manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload and book in deliveries.
Scan and attach delivery documentation per ISO 9001.
Pack, wrap and prepare products for dispatch.
Produce dispatch documentation and shipping labels.
Enter delivery information into carrier and logistics software.
Move stock within the warehouse and between locations.
Conduct stock checks and maintain inventory in the MRP system.
