Job description

Warehouse / Forklift Operative (Counterbalance & Reach)

Duration : Permanent

Pay : £28,000.00 - £30,000.00 per annum

Hours : Monday to Friday 8 : 30am - 5pm

Location : Brighouse / Liversedge

Duties

• Based between two sites, this role is there to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse in terms of goods in, goods out and general forklift duties. The warehouse must also be kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Unload all deliveries from film suppliers, checking them against delivery notes, marking them accordingly and putting into the correct racks.
• Unload all deliveries from machinery suppliers, checking them against delivery notes and put them in the machinery holding area - unless otherwise instructed.
• Moving of machinery between the warehouse and workshop as requested.
• Ensure that stock is picked according to customer orders using the F.I.F.O stock rotation system.
• Ensure that all picked orders are marked with generated order reference number.
• Adhere to the company health and safety policy.
• Any pallets above the first rack must be fully wrapped.
• Ensure that your duties are carried out in accordance with the company BRC policies - all of which are available to view.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse at all times in accordance with the BRC hygiene register.
• Cleaning of floor every Friday with industrial floor cleaner.
• Ensure that sample rack is clean, tidy and in order.
• Assist where instructed in the workshop when other duties are fulfilled.

Personal Profile

• Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Hold current / valid forklift operator's license - Counterbalance and Reach
• Full UK driving licence
• Be thorough, with a keen eye for detail
• Be a team player with the ability to help out in other areas if needed
• Demonstrate superb customer service skills, with a desire to be as helpful as possible at all times.
