Job summary

Booker Group in Leeds is seeking a Warehouse Operative to manage picking orders, pack goods, and deliver to customer premises. You will use scanners, operate handling equipment, and maintain accurate inventory while upholding health and safety standards. Permanent contract, 43 hours per week in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading pallets, assisting drivers, and ensuring timely deliveries with attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage picking orders to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
• Select items based on size, colour, quantity and quality.
• Prepare and stage items for dispatch.
• Operate handling equipment in line with safety protocols.
• Plan storage, replenishment and dispatch of products.
• Monitor stock control systems for order accuracy.
• Deliver goods to customer premises, verify delivery accuracy and obtain signed documents.
• Assist driver operatives as needed and load delivery vehicles.
• Verify goods with customers and complete documentation.
• Utilise scanners to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Pack warehouse orders and support team operations.
