Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our warehouse cleaning team. You will perform general cleaning and tidying across all areas, including washrooms and canteens, using the appropriate cleaning equipment and products.

You will help keep equipment clean and safe, respond to client call-outs, manage waste disposal, and work as part of a reliable team. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided and basic disclosure may be requested.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Basic Disclosure Check may be required.
• May be subject to drug and alcohol screening.
• Compliance with Health & Safety policies and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and cleaning products.
• Keep equipment clean, well maintained and in safe working order.
• React quickly to client call-outs and manage waste disposal.
