Overview

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners to work at a large distribution centre based in Worcester.

Duties

• General Cleaning Tasks
  • Sweeping and mopping floors to remove dust, dirt, and spills.
  • Vacuuming carpets or mats in office or break areas.
  • Dusting surfaces including shelves, machinery, and ventilation ducts.
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste properly.
• Sanitation and Hygiene
  • Cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies like soap and toilet paper.
  • Sanitizing high-touch areas such as door handles, switches, and shared equipment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in break rooms and kitchen areas.
• Warehouse-Specific Duties
  • Clearing debris from loading docks and storage areas to prevent accidents.
  • Cleaning spills promptly, especially hazardous materials, following safety protocols.
  • Reporting any safety hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Safety and Compliance
  • Using cleaning chemicals safely and wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Following health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Keeping cleaning equipment in good condition and storing it properly.
• Administrative Tasks (Occasionally)
  • Logging cleaning activities or completing checklists.
  • Coordinating with warehouse staff to avoid disrupting operations.

Shifts and Pay

We have the following shifts available 7 days a week so you can work as few or as many shifts as you want:

• 6am-2pm
• 2pm-10pm
• 10pm-6am

Days: £12.21
Nights: £13.21

This assignment will be for approximately 2 months.
