Job summary

Alliance Healthcare UK is seeking a part-time Warehouse Cleaner at the Swansea Service Centre. The role runs 20 hours per week, 14:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, supporting GDP-aligned cleaning practices and maintaining a hygienic, compliant warehouse environment.

You will carry out cleaning tasks to schedule, restock stations, manage waste compactors, and report issues to the Duty Manager, working independently with attention to detail and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic cleaning procedures within a warehouse/industrial setting.
• Knowledge of safe use and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Awareness of Health and Safety practices, including manual handling and hazard reporting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all cleaning tasks in line with the warehouse cleaning schedule.
• Maintain stocked cleaning stations with clean mops and water.
• Empty compactors safely in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Clean compactor areas at the end of each shift.
• Remove and return cardboard cages to designated warehouse locations.
• Report any missed cleaning tasks or issues to the Duty Manager.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are completed and signed off at the end of each shift.
• Follow all Health and Safety requirements and report any equipment faults promptly.
