  • Identify and report any failures in adhering to the cleaning schedule.
  • Obtain sign-off from the Duty Manager or Supervisor at the end of each shift.
  • Report any equipment failures to the Duty Manager.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.

Job description

This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Facilities team. In this role, you will ensure that all aspects of warehouse cleaning are performed to the highest standards, in line with standard operating procedures and the agreed cleaning schedule. You will contribute to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in compliance with Good Distribution Practice for Medicinal Products for Human Use.

Location: Belfast, BT3

Days and Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm

Rate of Pay: £12.54 per hour

Principal Responsibilities
  • Clean the warehouse following the specified cleaning schedule.
  • Respond efficiently to requests for cleaning services.
  • Ensure cleaning stations are stocked with clean mops and water.
  • Empty compactors according to manufacturer guidelines and clean the compactor area at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure cardboard cages are emptied and returned to their designated locations.
  • Identify and report any failures in adhering to the cleaning schedule to the Duty Manager.
  • Obtain sign-off from the Duty Manager or Supervisor on the cleaning schedule at the end of each shift.
  • Report any equipment failures to the Duty Manager.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.
