Job summary

We are BSS. in Brentford is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to support the branch with order processing, stock control, and loading/unloading deliveries. You will provide high‑quality service to customers and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

You will join a collaborative team with a focus on safety and accuracy, with on‑the‑job training and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service in a warehouse setting (<=140 chars)
• Maintain accurate stock records and order processing
• Work safely in a busy warehouse and follow health & safety rules
• Be able to load/unload vehicles and assist with deliveries

• Strong customer relationships are key to our success. You'll deliver the highest service standards in the Warehouse when serving customers, understanding and meeting your customers’ needs before sending them on their way with a smile.
• We keep safety at the heart of everything we do. Maintaining high standards and housekeeping across our warehouse keeps everybody safe and happy all day, every day.
• You’ll spend time in our Warehouse, helping to process orders, load and unload vehicles, and accurately book deliveries into our systems.
• You’ll work as part of a team, maintaining accurate stock levels to ensure a profitable branch.

• Are you able to process stock in the Warehouse within our health and safety guidelines?
• Do you provide best-in-class customer service through positive and purposeful interactions that leave a lasting impression?
• Can you self-motivate, multi-task and stay organised in adaptable, fast-paced environments?
• You don’t need to be an expert in insulation and interior building products, we’ll support you to learn this on the job!
• Are you a team player who is comfortable to step outside of your role to support colleagues across the wider branch.
