British Heart Foundation in Washington is seeking a part-time Warehouse Assistant to support our busy Home and Fashion stores. You will sort, check and prepare donated items for sale behind the scenes, not just till work.
You’ll help keep the shop floor stocked and ensure safe handling of items as part of a fast-paced team committed to funding life-saving research. You will work 21 hours per week with weekend and bank holiday availability on a rota basis, and the role involves physical handling

The role is part time for 21hours a week in one of our busy Home and Fashion stores. Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Candidate must be fully flexible to work across 7 days per week including Weekends and Bank Holidays.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our retail operation by sorting, checking and making the most out of the variety of donations we receive behind the scenes. You will be given lots of autonomy in your role and will strive to continually build your knowledge of BHF.
