Role Description

The Warehouse Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed, organized, and distributed. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling various warehouse functions, including stock handling, order preparation, and inventory control.

Work days (important)

Monday to Friday

Hours: 9AM to 6PM

The ideal candidate must be willing to work weekends if necessary (will be compensated with off days).

Key Responsibilities
  • Packing and Shipping: Pack and prepare items for shipment in a timely and organized manner. Ensure all packages are properly sealed, labeled, and ready for dispatch.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring products match purchase orders. Unbox, label, and shelve products in an organized manner for easy access.
  • Stock Counting and Inventory Audits: Perform regular stock counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. Assist with monthly or periodic inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Retail Support: Support retail staff by transporting products to the retail area or assisting customers as needed. Ensure the retail floor has an adequate supply of products and assist in replenishment.
  • Label Printing and Documentation: Print and attach accurate shipping and inventory labels. Maintain organized records of product receipts, stock levels, and shipments.
  • Weighting and Measuring Items: Accurately weigh and measure products for packaging or shipping purposes. Ensure that items are properly sized to meet logistics and shipping requirements.
  • Warehouse Organization and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse at all times. Ensure that all products are stored in the correct areas to maximize space and minimize damage.
  • Warehousing and packing experience will be preferred. Any other duties as required from time to time.
