Job summary

Medequip Assistive Technology Limited is hiring a Warehouse and Cleaning Apprentice in Brighouse. You will support stock control, housekeeping and cleaning while gaining skills through a recognised apprenticeship programme.

Daily tasks include learning a wide range of warehouse processes, working solo or as part of a team, and completing the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship, with a focus on health and safety and maintaining workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Learning and developing a wide range of warehouse skills and operational processes.
• Working independently and as part of a team to complete warehouse tasks and contribute to departmental objectives.
• Successfully completing the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship.
• Learning and applying health and safety requirements within the workplace.
• Developing the skills required to construct or modify apparatus and community equipment.
• Learning how to maintain workshop equipment and keep it in good working order.
• Maintaining an apprenticeship logbook to record projects undertaken and skills acquired.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse, workshop and specialist areas.
• Supporting stock management activities in line with company standards.
• Maintaining a smart appearance and acting professionally at all times.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.

As the Warehouse and Cleaning Apprentice for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you will support the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring high standards of stock management, housekeeping and cleaning, whilst developing your skills through a recognised apprenticeship programme.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
