Job Title: Wards/ECC Inpatient Care Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Eastcott Referrals

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours/week - 4 x 10hr days. Varying shift times ranging from 7am-5pm to 12pm-10pm plus 1 in 8 weekends with days off the following week.

Salary: £28,000 - £33,538 depending on experience

Eastcott Referrals are seeking an RVN to join our friendly, close knit and well-established practice in Swindon, Wiltshire.

About the Role

This is a full time permanent position. The working hours are:

• Monday to Friday: 4 x 10hr days. Varying shift times ranging from 7am-5pm to 12pm-10pm
• 1:8 weekends with days off the following week

About You

• An RVN with at least 1 years post qualification experience
• Team spirited and passionate about quality care
• Previous experience of working within a busy referral setting desired but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.

You’ll be working alongside a wonderful team including a very supportive PCA team, and you’ll be fully supported by the whole nursing team.

Eastcott is an innovative tier 3 multidisciplinary referral and primary care hospital located just off the M4 in Swindon, Wiltshire.

We see cases from a variety of disciplines, including cardiology, orthopaedics, soft tissue, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, ECC and primary care.

Day-to-Day Duties

The role encompasses all nursing skills including:

• Nursing care for a mixture of inpatients and day patients within dedicated wards encompassing a range of departments including ECC
• Speaking with clients over the phone to give updates on patients and also rotating through a discharge shift which is client facing
