North Downs Hospital
Part time - 37.5 hours per week
North Downs Hospital is one of Surreys leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Located within the M25 close to the centre of Caterham the hospital opened in 1974 and currently has 15 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and a daycase suite. By investing in advanced medical technology the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy hip and knee replacements. The day unit is suitable for minor operations and endoscopy. Treatments at the hospital also include cataract removal ENT procedures hernia repair varicose vein surgery hysterectomy prostate surgery and urological procedures.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Ward Sister / Charge Nurse to join the ward nursing team at North Downs Hospital. You will be expected to help lead our team supporting junior members of the team and coordinating the ward.
In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. The appointed Ward Sister / Charge Nurse must be organised with good attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a successful candidate will support the Ward Manager and team in ensuring that safe effective and high quality clinical care is delivered to all patients.
