Merseywestlancs is seeking a Band 6 Ward Sister/Charge Nurse for Ward 2C at Whiston Hospital. The post requires dynamic leadership to ensure exemplary patient care on a busy ward serving respiratory and medical conditions.

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ Band experience and demonstrated clinical leadership, with ENB 998 or equivalent. The role includes supporting budget control and staff development within a dedicated team.

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Ward Sister/Charge Nurse on Ward 2C .

The new post holder will join our already existing, dedicated, and friendly team of staff on Ward 2C at Whiston Hospital. The post holder should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute setting

Ward 2C is an extremely busy ward with a high turnover of patients and staff care for acutely ill patients with a wide range of Respiratory and medical conditions.

The Ward Sister/Charge Nurse is expected to be dynamic and enthusiastic and be able to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. The Ward Sister/Charge Nurse is also responsible for assisting the Ward Manager with budget control and staff development.
