Job summary

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking a Medical Records and Ward Administrator to support both ward reception and the Medical Records Department. The role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to deliver high-quality patient and colleague service.

You will manage Subject Access Requests (SARs), maintain accurate records, and provide secretarial support using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage SARs from start to finish, logging and quality checking requests.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for admissions and ongoing care.
  • Provide high-quality admin support using CRM and MS Office.
  • Support Medical Records team with filing, tracking, and locating records.
  • Email discharge summaries to GPs and ensure proper distribution.
  • Answer patient calls and escalate clinical concerns as needed.
  • Greet patients on arrival and escort them to rooms.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Prioritise workload while maintaining accuracy and detail.
