Job description

The Ward Manager provides clinical, professional and operational leadership for the medical ward, ensuring thedeliveryofsafe,effectiveandhigh-qualitypatientcare.Theyareresponsibleformanagingstaff,maintainingpatientsafety,overseeingwardperformance,managingresourcesandensuringcompliancewithTrustandregulatorystandards.

The right candidate will need to have extensive relevant clinical experience and a clear focus on ensuring patients receive specialist high quality care at all times. The role involves leading and managing a well established team as well as providing clinical expertise and working clinically on the ward.

This role is to cover maternity leave for 12 months and so a secondment or fixed term contract will be considered.
