A leading healthcare organization in Plaistow seeks a Band 7 Ward Manager for Silvertown Ward. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of clinical care and manage a team of dedicated nurses. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, good role model and motivated individual to support the team of very dedicated nurses on Silvertown Ward for a permanent period. If you are you looking to develop your career further as an experienced Band 6, or you are a Band 7 nurse/manager looking to manage a 25 bedded surgical ward, caring for patients from all surgical specialties, this is your opportunity now. You will be responsible for the operational effectiveness of the Unit and Lead and manage the Nursing staff.
The Post holder will need to be NMC registered, with recent experience of working in an acute or surgical area at either Band 6 or Band 7 level. You will be a leader, highly focused, enthusiastic, and motivated. Able to demonstrate the appropriate competencies for the role, work with the existing multidisciplinary teams and have good communication skills at all levels.
