Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a diligent housekeeping/ward services assistant to support the ward team. You will help ensure clean, safe, and well-stocked patient areas, and coordinate non-clinical tasks to allow nurses to focus on patient care.

The role involves stock management, serving drinks and snacks, maintaining fridges, and assisting with patient weight checks as part of dialysis support. Equity and wellbeing are emphasised.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage unit stocks and stores using online ordering; check receipts and store items.
• Conduct mid-morning/afternoon tea rounds and provide drinks and snacks to patients.
• Keep ward pantry clean; monitor fridge temperatures and rotate stock (FIFO).
• Assist patients to weigh before and after their dialysis treatment.
