Housekeeper – Ward A6

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Ward A6 as our Housekeeper. Ward A6 is a mixed surgical acute admissions ward, caring for general surgical, urology, breast, orthopedic, ENT and plastic specialty patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ordering required stock, working closely with the materials management team
  • Organisation of stock including clinical and non‑clinical items
  • General housekeeping: cleaning, tidying and organising the ward environment and patient bed spaces
  • Oversight of the maintenance of medical devices and fixtures and fittings, reporting faults appropriately
  • Assisting in the ordering and provision of patient meals, meeting nutritional requirements
  • Maintaining infection control standards on the ward
  • Completing relevant audits
  • Escalating concerns via the relevant channels
About the Role

This is a busy, physically active role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and organization, supporting the clinical team to deliver patient care.
