Ward Host (St Helier)

As a ward hostess you will help to enhance our patient well‑being and their experience in the hospital. Working closely with other hospital staff you will be expected to deliver a great level of customer service to all patients, visitors, staff and various stakeholders.

Salary: £13.85 per hour. Please note this opportunity is NOT Agenda For Change and terms & conditions vary from Agenda for Change.

Responsibilities
  • Provide an efficient food and beverage service to patients on wards ensuring that food and beverages meet patients’ medical, dietary and cultural needs.
  • Help prepare the service areas with the necessary equipment, such as crockery, serving utensils and condiments.
  • Prepare and produce food, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and food handling while ensuring all food served to patients is easily accessible.
Shift Pattern

Shift pattern will include evening and weekend working.
