A leading healthcare provider in Leeds is seeking a motivated individual to support the clinical ward team. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment and assisting in transportation of patients and equipment. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and prior cleaning experience, with the requirement of GCSEs in Maths and English. Weare looking for highly motivated, dynamic individuals to work as a member ofthe ward team providing non-clinical support to the professional teams withinthe Neonatal service.
Therole will be supportive in keeping the hospital environment safe, clean, andtidy, responding to patient bed discharge/equipment cleaning and/or urgentpatient equipment/specimen/blood transportation and stocking up of essentialconsumables.

Towork as a member of the clinical ward team carrying out the cleaning and themovement of patients, specimens & goods/consumables/drugs between wardsand departments. To provide a range ofdirect or indirect supervised non-clinical support to the professional teamswithin designated clinical areas.
Therole will be supportive in keeping the hospital environment, safe, clean andtidy. The provision of a high-qualitysupport service, responding to patient bed discharge/equipment cleaning andor/ urgent patient equipment/specimen/blood transportation.
Thejob holder will work within designated clinical areas providing support tothe multi-disciplinary teams. Duties will include answering phones, cleaningequipment, setting up equipment under supervision, ordering maintaining stocklevels and any other general clinical duties required.
Thejob holder will meet, and greet patients, family or carers and provide familyand carer support where asked to do so. The job holder will be a centralpoint of communication between the department and medical physics to ensureequipment is returned, and repaired, and or serviced in a timely manner.
TheLeeds Neonatal Service delivers care to over 1400 babies per year. We have 14intensive care, 16 high dependency, 10 New- born surgical and 16 special carecots cross city. We also have a 13 bedded Transitional care unit on the StJames Hospital Site and 6 Transitional care cots integrated into the postnatal Ward on the Leeds General Infirmary Site.
