A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Band 4 Ward Coordinator to manage essential administrative processes in a neurosurgery/neurology or critical care unit. Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Ward Coordinator. This role will be based on either a neurosurgery/neurology or critical care unit, with opportunities to cross‑cover, job share and flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

As the Ward Coordinator you will manage essential administrative processes and serve as the primary point of contact for patients, their families and various stakeholders. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the assigned ward(s), working closely with multidisciplinary teams, medical records services and internal and external partners. The role requires a patient‑centred approach, the ability to multitask, work independently and collaboratively within a team, and to operate in line with the Trust’s core values.

Qualifications

• A proactive and enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service and communication skills. • Previous administrative experience and good organisational skills. • Competent level of IT skills using Microsoft Office software packages; experience with Epic is an advantage. • Experience working within a busy NHS ward or hospital setting and a team‑player mindset.

• Permanent full‑time role working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
