Job summary

Woking Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join our ward. This permanent, full-time position includes weekend work and offers up to £30,250 per annum depending on experience.

You will be part of a team delivering high standards of patient care under supervision of Registered Nurses and consultants. You’ll have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with relevant hospital or care setting experience.

Qualifications

• Good telephone manner and proficient computer/database skills.
• Able to work as part of a ward team to support patient care.
• Comfortable with administrative duties and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Put patient care first.
• Carry out administrative duties.
• Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering patient care before and after surgery.
