Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor to cover two Acute Care wards at Bowmere Hospital, Chester. This full-time 1.0 WTE post involves working with two consultants and a multidisciplinary team to care for acutely unwell and functional mental health patients.

The role requires independent patient reviews, treatment planning, MDT participation, and tribunal report writing. DBS checks and alignment with Trust values are part of the process.

Qualifikationen

• Fully registered with GMC with licence to practise at appointment.
• Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
• In good standing with GMC regards to warnings or conditions on practice.

Aufgaben

• Work across 2 acute care wards, Beech Ward and Juniper Ward.
• Provide senior medical support and independently review patients.
• Draft treatment plans, attend MDT meetings, and write tribunal reports.
• Participate in ward-based assessments, documentation, prescribing, and discharge planning.

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
