Job summary

The Royal School for the Blind in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking a Male Waking Night Support Worker to help residents live fuller, more independent lives with dignity and respect.

You’ll work 30 hours per week (3 nights) with guaranteed hours, paid training and career development, and a supportive, collaborative team. A UK manual driving licence and the right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Good spoken and written English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines from night to morning to help residents feel safe.
• Plan and implement person-centred activities to boost wellbeing.
• Contribute to tailored support plans for individuals.
• Build therapeutic relationships that make a real difference.
• Keep accurate support notes with attention to detail.
