Look Ahead Care, Support and Housing Ltd is seeking a caring Waking Night Support Worker for a Forensic Mental Health service in Kingston. The role involves skilled waking-night support, maintaining safety and relational security, and responding to overnight emotional and mental health needs.

You will engage customers who are distressed, provide trauma-informed support, and contribute to health and safety duties. The service aims to open in January 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience of waking-night work with people who have mental health or other complex needs.
• Forensic mental health experience or related statutory considerations.

Responsabilités

• Maintain an active waking-night presence as part of a team, with no lone working.
• Engage distressed customers with calm, trauma-informed and boundaried support.
• Support health and safety responsibilities across the service overnight.
