We’re looking for a person who can support two wonderful lady seniors, each in their 60s, living with learning disabilities, autism, and well‑managed epilepsy. Despite their challenges, they enjoy a variety of activities at a slower pace and value compassion, patience, and quiet support throughout the night.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring Safety: Conduct regular checks to ensure the safety and well‑being of residents throughout the night.
- Promoting Rest: Provide emotional reassurance to help residents maintain healthy sleeping patterns.
- Night Support: Assist with personal care needs during the night, including bathroom assistance and changing clothes if necessary.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of activities and any incidents that occur during the night.
Shift Information
- Waking Night Shifts: 10pm – 8am.
- 1–2 sleep‑in shifts are required per week.
- Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work‑life balance.
