The National Autistic Society is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to assist residents at Hoylands House in Barnsley. You will follow individual support plans to help people live their best lives during night shifts.

We value caring, reliability and flexibility, with duties including personal care, activity support, and developing life skills in a calm, respectful environment for adults with autism.

Qualifications

• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
• Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
• Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
• Support life skills & independence (budgeting, shopping, meal preparation)
