We are recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers for a new Supported Living Service based in Manadon, Plymouth.

Are you experienced in working with individuals who have a Learning Disability and Mental Health needs? We are searching for a team of highly skilled and passionate individuals to assist someone in embarking on a new chapter in their life. This individual is eager to actively engage in the community and explore new opportunities. This role is both demanding and incredibly fulfilling, as you will play a crucial part in helping this person strive for their best life. Your responsibilities will include supporting them in participating in activities they enjoy and fostering their independence.

Possessing a valid driver's license will be advantageous.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a meaningful role in:

  • Supporting and enabling the People We Support to live their best lives through person-centred care tailored to each individual, aligned with our support delivery model.
  • Using your knowledge, skills, and adherence to legislation, best practices, policies, and procedures to deliver high-quality care.
  • Engaging with each person to help them maintain their skills, pursue interests, and receive personalized support.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of Support Plans and other documentation to ensure effective support.
  • Notifying the Team Leader/Senior Support Worker of any changes in the needs of those we support, to promote their well-being.
  • Promoting and maintaining the safety and safeguarding of those in our care.
  • Helping individuals maintain and develop relationships with family, friends, and others important to them.
