Location: IP7 – Hadleigh / Ipswich

Hours: 37.5 or 52-hour contracts available

Shift pattern: 12.5‑hour waking nights (8:00pm – 8:30am)

About the Role

P4 Recruitment are supporting a brilliant 7‑bed children’s home caring for young people aged 11–16 with autism, non‑verbal communication needs, epilepsy, and 1:1 or 2:1 support ratios.

We are seeking dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the children throughout the night.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Maintaining a safe, calm, and reassuring environment
  • Providing support during the night including monitoring, personal care, and safeguarding
  • Responding promptly to any needs, incidents, or medical requirements
  • Keeping accurate records and handovers for the day staff
  • Supporting routines such as bedtime, early morning activities, and transitions
  • Working as part of a caring and professional night team
