Job summary

Cornwall Staff Agency is seeking friendly, reliable waiting staff to join our team across Newquay and surrounding areas. You’ll help deliver great hospitality experiences, take orders, serve and clear tables, and provide professional customer service.

We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, and enhanced rates on bank holidays. This temporary work fits around other commitments and lets you choose when you're available.

Qualifications

• Experience waiting staff in hospitality environments.
• Reliable and enthusiastic team player.
• Able to work flexible shifts and on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders from customers.
• Serve and run food and drinks to tables.
• Clear and re-lay tables and reset settings between guests.
• Polish plates, glasses and cutlery to maintain a clean dining area.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times.
• Assist in keeping service running smoothly during busy periods.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be helping our clients deliver a great experience to their customers, including:

• Taking food and drink orders


• Serving and running food and drinks


• Clearing and re-laying tables


• Polishing plates, glasses and cutlery


• Providing friendly, professional customer service


• Helping to keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Flexible Hours & Shifts

We have shifts available to suit different schedules, including:

• Weekday and weekend shifts


• Early starts and late finishes


• Flexible hours based around your availability
