Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland Defence is looking for a Waiter/Waitress on a full-time basis (35 hours/week). You will be the face of our business, greeting guests and delivering exceptional service in Defence environments. Rotating shifts apply, with pride in our brand and in our people.

You will greet guests, take orders, and make menu recommendations while upholding food hygiene and safety standards. Join a large hospitality group serving 250+ UK sites and supporting a dedicated Defence sector.

Qualifications

• Front-of-house experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and looking after our guests so they go home delighted
• Serving customers, ensuring they receive an easy and seamless personalised experience
• Being knowledgeable about the menu and making recommendations to our guests

• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
