Job Title: Waiting Staff

Location: Derby

Pay rate/Salary: £12.41 p/h

Hours of Work: Fridays and Saturdays, 19:00 – 23:00

Type: Temporary

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We’re looking for reliable, Weekend Waiting Staff to join our team for a series of Christmas party events over a 3-week period. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of delivering great experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Duties of a Waiting Staff

You’ll be helping serve a 3-course meal for events ranging from 200-300 guests, depending on the night.

Your duties will include:

• Serving food and drinks
• Clearing tables
• Polishing cutlery
• Putting crockery away
• Assisting the kitchen team
• Resetting and closing the kitchen for the next event

You’ll be working closely with our chefs and floor supervisors, and we aim to build a consistent team who can work every event.

Dress Code

• White ironed button‑up shirt
• Black tie
• Smart long black suit trousers (no jeans, no cropped trousers)
• Black leather shoes (no loafers, boots, trainers or ballet pumps)
• Black long socks
• Fingernails short, no nail varnish
• No facial piercings
• Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied in a bun
