A leading logistics operator in Manchester is seeking a Wagon Fitter to join their dynamic team at the Vehicle Maintenance Facility. We currently have a vacancy for a Wagon Fitter to join our dynamic team at Manchester Vehicle Maintenance Facility (MVMF).
The role forms an important part of Freightliner’s overall business. Wagon maintenance is essential to business success. The purpose of the role is to undertake the servicing, maintenance, and repair of Wagons to ensure we meet our customer demand.
What will be your responsibilities:
On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:
Hours
The contractual basic hours for this role is 39 hours per week.
Manchester VMF operate a 2 week rotating shift pattern which provides flexibility and work/ life balance.
Week 1: Monday – Thursday 0600- 1430, with a 1330 finish time on Friday.
Week 2: Monday – Thursday 1400 – 2230, Friday 1030 - 1800.
