Job summary

Seagate Technology in Springtown, Northern Ireland, is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist (Production Leader) to oversee a team of up to 35 specialists on 12-hour shifts, ensuring safe operations and alignment with production plans.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll drive performance, coach staff, manage bottlenecks, and foster cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on continuous improvement and a positive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in manufacturing and/or management experience.
• Strong people management skills with experience in HR management.
• Proven track record of leading teams against goals in a pressurised environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of Manufacturing Specialists and communicate goals, provide training and feedback.
• Maintain focus on meeting or exceeding production plans.
• Build a high performing, engaged workforce.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures and audits.
• Uphold housekeeping standards in the facility.
• Lead bottleneck resolution and coordinate cross-functional response.
• Adapt plans for priority changes, resources, and customer requirements.
• Foster cross-departmental relationships and drive continuous improvement.
