Vulnerability Management Team Leader Location: UK CC Offices (Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Hatfield). Additional comments: Due to client and role requirements, we are seeking applicants with Security Clearance (or ability to obtain) along with strong team leader and vulnerability management experience and the ability to travel between Computacenter offices.

Life on the team

The Team Leader role for the Vulnerability Management team, will oversee the people on the team and their delivery and coordination of vulnerability management for our vulnerability management customers. This role requires interfacing Digital Infrastructure, ITIL, Security, Customer Delivery Leadership and Product Develop teams amongst other areas to ensure seamless service integration, collaboration, stakeholder management, proactive risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. As well as leading the team, there will be a partially hands on approach to assisting with the delivery of vulnerability management services, due to the continual development of the service.

The team plays a critical role in safeguarding our customers systems. You will be supporting and assisting the team in identifying and assessing vulnerabilities across customer supported products, ensuring timely remediation following our industry aligned vulnerability lifecycle management process.

What you’ll do
Team Leadership, People Management & Stakeholder Relations
  • Lead a team comprising of specialists in vulnerability management
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and career development for direct reports.
  • Ensure team alignment with goals and compliance standards, including building strong relationships between business areas
  • Integrate and support our values and behaviours, leading by example
Vulnerability Management
  • Lead the team to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of vulnerability detection, analysis, and remediation using tools such as Qualys, Tenable, SCCM, and Defender.
  • Interface with other teams to ensure threat intelligence is integrated into operational workflows.
  • Coordinate vulnerability management into resolver teams to ensure timely remediation.
Service Development & Improvement
  • Work with line manager, product owner, team and key stakeholders to develop and grow the service further to meet a changing landscape and add value.
  • Be able to articulate complex ideas in an understandable way and implement service improvements.
What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in leading teams
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management, tools and threat intelligence practices
  • Familiarity with enterprise ITSM platforms (e.g., Ivanti ISM, ServiceNow)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, consensus building and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to drive service and process improvements
  • Ability to travel between Computacenter UK offices and our customer site in Stevenage
