Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Vulnerability Management Ops SME to review findings, contextualise risk across our tech environment and support remediation efforts. You will collaborate with Technology, Engineering, Infrastructure and Cyber Security to drive consistent, data-informed improvements.

Based in Northampton or Knutsford, you will help automate and optimise vulnerability processes, ensuring timely and proportionate responses to threats with stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerability practices, including reviewing vulnerabilities, understanding their relevance, supporting remediation activities and helping organisations address potential cyber security risks.
• Ability to review and interpret information from vulnerability sources and threat intelligence to assess risk.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences and coordinate remediation actions.

Responsibilities

• Allocate risk ratings and remediation prioritisation based on industry standards, threat intelligence and asset value.
• Develop vulnerability management operating model, policies and procedures for consistent identification, remediation and reporting.
• Communicate vulnerabilities to senior stakeholders and partners with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence and Cyber Operations to contextualise exposure and set remediation timescales.
• Define requirements for automation tools to streamline vulnerability management across OS and applications.
• Report remediation status of findings against Key Risk Indicators.
