Role purpose: The Vice President of Strategic Deals is a global executive role reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), responsible for defining, leading, and governing the execution of complex, high-value cybersecurity transactions across the globe. Based in the UK, the VP partners with regional sales leaders, legal, finance, product, and executive leadership to shape strategic deal structures that align to growth goals, accelerate global sales velocity, and ensure commercial discipline. This leader is accountable for scaling strategic deal frameworks, mentoring sales leadership, and acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team on enterprise deal posture and risk.

Responsibilities
Global Deal Strategy & Governance:
  • Own and evolve the global strategic deals program, including vision, frameworks, and success metrics.
  • Direct and approve complex, multi-region deals across strategic sectors, including Technology, Government, Energy, Finance, and Healthcare.
  • Lead global deal reviews with C-level executives and drive consistent executive alignment across go-to-market regions.
Executive Engagement & Commercial Strategy:
  • Translate long-term revenue objectives into executable commercial structures and engagement models.
  • Shape deal strategy in line with broader corporate and sales transformation initiatives.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for critical opportunities, partnering directly with customers and boards during strategic negotiations.
Business Case & Commercial Innovation:
  • Oversee development of global business cases and ROI models, ensuring they support pricing, profitability, and long‑term client value.
  • Lead global discount governance and ensure commercial creativity is balanced with margin integrity and risk posture.
Enablement & Team Leadership:
  • Build and lead a high‑performing Strategic Deals team with global presence and local expertise.
  • Establish deal desk maturity standards and coach regional leaders on complex deal structuring and execution.
  • Deliver ongoing training and enablement for global sales teams, aligned with evolving product and market strategy.
Success Measures
  • Growth in global strategic deal revenue and margin contribution
  • C‑level satisfaction and alignment on commercial deal posture and risk
  • Reduction in enterprise deal cycle time through operational rigor
  • Expansion and adoption of global deal frameworks across business units
  • Successful enablement of regional sales leadership through repeatable, scalable deal structures
Experience Required
  • Experience in commercial strategy, enterprise sales, or deal desk leadership, including VP‑level experience supporting global sales organizations
  • Track record of negotiating $10M+ cybersecurity, SaaS, or managed service agreements in both public and private sectors
  • Extensive experience with UK, EMEA, and global procurement and compliance models
  • Deep knowledge of sales process optimization, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and pricing automation tools
  • Board‑level presence and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Experience working across international markets and matrixed environments
