Job summary

A renewable energy development firm is seeking a Vice President of Development to oversee all aspects of solar and storage project development. This senior leadership role in Texas requires leading initiatives from origination through NTP and COD while managing cross-functional teams and external consultants. Candidates should have 8–12 years’ experience in utility-scale solar, strong knowledge of Texas permitting processes, and the ability to coordinate closely with various stakeholders.   • Proven success managing ERCOT projects through NTP or COD.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of utility-scale solar and storage projects from LOI through NTP and COD.
  • Oversee land acquisition, title, interconnection, permitting, environmental studies, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage internal teams and external consultants across all stages of development.
