Job summary

Citi in London is seeking a Senior Technologist to architect a next‑gen risk analytics platform. You will convert PV outputs from risk engines into a scalable data asset, ingesting billions of PV calculations and serving fast insights to senior stakeholders.

You will lead data pipelines, intelligent APIs, and NLP-enabled interfaces, leveraging OLAP engines to deliver rapid drill‑downs and dashboards for Markets and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies and Spark at scale.
• Proven ability to design and optimize data pipelines.
• Strong programming and SQL skills, with Python/Java/Scala.
• Experience in finance risk data (VaR, FRTB, PV) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable data pipelines for billions of PV calculations.
• Develop and optimize large-scale aggregation jobs with Spark.
• Design intelligent data APIs for risk data access.
• Integrate NLP to enable query-based data exploration.
• Load and model data into OLAP engines like Pinot, Druid, Trino.
• Build interactive dashboards atop the OLAP layer.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Quant, Risk teams to meet analytics needs.
