Job summary

Morgan McKinley is assisting a global digital assets leader in London to recruit a VP-level Quantitative Developer for a Crypto trading desk. This on-site/hybrid role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance market-making and quantitative strategies.

You will collaborate with traders, quants, and engineers to push the frontier of automated trading, data analytics, and AI-enabled tooling in a dynamic institutional environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in algorithmic trading environments.
• Experience on FX or Cryptocurrency trading desks.
• Strong knowledge of tick data analytics and real-time market data processing.
• Hands-on DeFi execution on SOL/ETH platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based market access or hybrid deployment models.

Responsibilities

• Algorithm development for crypto market-making and quantitative trading.
• System optimization for speed, reliability, and scalability in live trading.
• Translate complex trading strategies into efficient code with traders and quants.
• Integrate new data sources and ensure data integrity for models.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and output quality.
