Job summary

VaynerMedia UK is seeking a visionary VP of Production to serve as the ultimate production conductor and senior operational leader across our UK and German client portfolio. You will own end-to-end production, social content operating system, commercial health, and full client scope, overseeing a team of Production Directors and Producers.

• Own ongoing performance and evolution of the work streams, improving asset quality, volume, and efficiency while strengthening commercial health.
• Act as the operational bridge between UK and German markets to drive alignment and consistent delivery.
• Integrate Always-On Social, Premium Video, Live Experiential, and Creator/Influencer streams for maximum cohesion.
• Build and manage a team of expert producers across disciplines to scale work streams.
• Provide executive production leadership for major brand moments, premium videos, live event content, and complex partnerships.
• Partner with the VP of Creator/Influencer to operationalise creator/talent production infrastructures and vendor negotiations.
• Serve as senior operational client-facing authority on production strategy, scoping, resourcing, risk mitigation, and delivery.

The Pitch: VP of Production

We are looking for a visionary VP of Production to serve as the ultimate production conductor and senior operational leader across one of our largest EMEA client portfolios spanning the UK and Germany. In this role, you will stand as the partner to the Client Partner Lead, taking total ownership of the account's end-to-end production engine, social content operating system, commercial health, and full client scope. You will oversee a team of Production Directors and Producers and manage multiple work streams across Always-On Social, Premium Video, Experiential and events, creator and Influencer production. You are responsible for ensuring all production work streams run seamlessly, translating creative vision into flawless execution while building a faster, leaner, and more efficient production engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard and launch the end-to-end integrated production model, workflows and delivery infrastructure for a brand-new client account.
• Own the ongoing performance and evolution of the work streams, identifying opportunities to increase asset volume or quality, improve quality or efficiency and strengthen commercial performance.
• Act as the key operational bridge between UK and German markets, driving alignment and consistent delivery across both.
• Integrate disparate workstreams, including Always-On Social, Premium Video, Live Experiential, and Creator/Influencer (CAIT) - to ensure maximum cohesion across all.
• Build and manage a team of expert producers across disciplines who will help scale against these work streams.
• Act as the key Production lead for EMEA, representing local market needs and priorities within the global account structure and ensuring alignment between global and local teams.
• Partner with Client Partnership lead to manage overall account commercials, ensuring strong financial health in its entirety.
• Drive collaborative creative discussions with the creative lead, pitching original ideas and strategic inputs to enhance the quality of work across the account.
• Partner closely with the Strategic Lead, contributing operational and production expertise to shape strategic thinking and output.
• Establish clear ways of working for the client, ensuring collaboration with integrated teams across multiple markets.
• Provide executive production leadership for teams across major brand moments, premium videos, live event content captures, and complex partnership activations.
• Partner with the VP of Creator/Influencer (CAIT) to operationalise creator, influencer, and talent production infrastructures, governing contracts, platform integrations, and scalable sourcing models.
• Serve as the senior operational client-facing authority on production strategy, scoping, resourcing, risk mitigation, and operational delivery.
• Work alongside the client partner for operational delivery, risk mitigation, and executive issue resolution.
• Proactively join the dots between existing and new activities/partnerships and how to build them out - identifying cultural signals to create and power tentpole events and productions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing, alone or collaboratively, team profitability and operational health.
• Broad production fluency across social-first creative, video, live events, experiential, events, creator ecosystems, and post-production.
• Sharp commercial acumen with experience with rate cards, burn tracking, margin optimisation, and vendor negotiations.
• Strategic problem-solving and crisis-management capabilities in live production environments.
